I am interested in any research on the Gant/Gantt family of Isle of Wight Co., VA. My ancestor was John Gant AKA: GENT/GAUNT, farmer (b. 1713, d. Franklin Co. NC 1783) who married daughter of Edward Brantley 2nd wife's surname was Bobo. Children: William, John, Isham, James, Andrew, and Edward.
