needing information on Jordan Goodson, d. 1869 in Spalding, Georgia. Found a statement that he and/or his family came from Isle of Wight, but no further info given. There is an orphan record from Isle of Wight, dated 3 Feb 1774 listing a Jordan and Rebecca Goodson, bound out, father listed as John. Any assistance on Goodson ancestors will be appreciated.
