I do believe that Thomas Peden was son of Bryant Howell Peden. You can check Giles Co Tn census. Bryant was a brother of Elisha Peden who was my husband's ggg grandfather. According to some information I recieved about 4 years ago from think it was a Mr. Pettus, Elisha and Bryant were sons of Amos Peden and Ann Ritor Howell, although this is as far back as I can trace this for a certainty. Some other internet sources say Amos was son of James and Patience. And that is a really dead end with this. If they came from the Isle of Wight in VA, no one has ever verified this information.
