I am trying to find a bennett family researcher.I have traced my earlest John Bennett comming into Perquimans Co.NC with his family 1703. Unfortunately, I can't find his parents or where he came from. I think he came from Isle of wright Area and I am trying to connect him to the Edward Bennett family.I have searched John Bennett Boddies 17th Century Isle of Wright, and other early wills that I can find. I did find a will of James that had a son named John that he gave his cooper tools too. and Peter Bennett that had a son named John but it looks like he stayed in VA. I do know that several people held land in VA and NC at the same time. His wifes name was Rose, his children's names were John Jr.Jean,Ellenor and Thomas. I am estimating john Date of birth as 1670-1680.
