Need information regarding Rev. Thomas Hume, a Presbyterian minister who emigrated to Smithfield, Isle of Wight County, Virginia, in 1803 from Edinburgh, Scotland. He married Ruth Stith (Stiger ?) in 1810, had one son, Thomas, and died shortly thereafter. I am particularly looking for his Scottish ancestry.
