I am a descendant of the Vassar family. My ggrandmother Elizaberh Vassar married James W. Kessinger in 1874 in Holt Couty, Missouri. I understand the Vassar's came to VA in the late 1600's first settleing in the Isle of White,VA area. I have also been told there is an area/road named Vassar Fork (I believe fork) and that is what I am interested in at this time. Does anyone out there know exactly where this is or was?
