This young man was born in Greensville co and as a teenager worked in Northampton co NC in the household of a Thomas Pepper. He was a merchant (where?) before he enlisted in CSA in Halifax co NC in 1861.He served briefly before returning to Northampton or Martin Co where he died of disease in Nov 1862.
