One of the two females missing on the 1840 Robertson County, TN census, I believe to be one of my ancestors, Mary Doyle. She married a James Ganis, ca 1837. Her first child, a daughter was born 1838.It appears that John Doyle was an older brother to Zacharial.Mary applied for a divorce from james Ganis ca 1847. We don't know happened to James, but Mary married a Covington ffor her second marriage. Had one daughter by that marriage. On the 1880 Robertson County, she has gone back the the GANIS surname. harry cleveland. can you tell me more about the DOYLES?
