I am searching for info on Henry Allen from Greensville Co. who married Mary. There seems to be two of them. My Henry had sons named James J., Henry, and T. N. based upon the 1850 census from Greensville Co. No records there after that of these folks. James J. served in the civil war and I have his war records. He moved to Roanoke Rapids NC and lived there until he died. I am just trying to locate his father and determine which Allen line he descends from in Greensville or surrounding counties in Virginia. Will share any info I have about James J. Allen b.1843.
