(Waldrop also spelled Waldript) It is believed that Susanna Barnes was the daughter of Ingram Blanks Sr. whose will is dated 1762 Brunswick Co. VA. Susanna Barnes died in October of 1821 Greensville. Administrator was James Blanks. Executors: Fisher Wilson, Randolph Grigg and Burwell Grigg Descendants of this Barnes family married in to the following families: Newsom, Rideout, Hunt, Saunders, Bass, Lanier and Washer. Sincerely,

Hoping there may be researchers who may recognize this Barnes family of Greensville Co. VA and possibly of Brunswick or Sussex County in VA prior to 1780.
2. William Barnes died unmarried 1804 Greensville. Witnesses to his will were: Nathaniel Mabry, Bozwell Payne and Thomas Malone.
3. John Barnes Jr. m. Elizabeth Bass 1803 Greensville. Surety Jacob Payne.
4. Bennett (spelled Benjamin in deeds) m. Susanna Simmons Whitehorn (widow) 1815 Sussex Co. VA. Susanna the widow of Philemon Whitehorn of Sussex Co.
5. Lizza (spelled Elizabeth in deeds) m. Henry Mason 1816 Greensville. Surety Bennett Barnes.
6. Richard m. Polly Rhay 1817 Greensville. Surety Benjamin Hogwood.
7. Rebecca m. Hartwell Adams 1821 Greensville. Surety Littleton Chambliss.
