Posted by Carolyn Anderson I've gone through all the property taxes of Greensville Co. from 1782 to 1843 and your Henry P. Mason never came out on these taxes per VA law. I've also gone through the estate of John Jeter, father of Rebecca Jeter Mason, and Henry P. is not listed. The only Henry Mason in the Greensville Co. taxes is Henry Mason who first married Rebecca Jeter and then Lizza (Elizabeth) Barnes in 1816 Greensville Co. I've also gone back through the masonic document for Henry and Lizza's son Thomas R. Mason b. 1818 Greensville Co. and there is no reference to Thomas R. having had a half brother. I've also searched other Greenville Co. records and again no Henry P. Mason. Sorry to have to note this as I wish Thomas R. had another line of Masons to research. Sincerely,
