I am searching for information relative to the families of Robert Rivers, Sr and Robert Rivers, Jr, both Revolutionary War Patriots of Greensville County, Virginia, according to the records of the DAR. Specifically, I believe Robert Rivers, Sr. to also be the father of William Rivers, who I believe to be the father of Samuel Rivers, whose mother is believed to have been Susannah Richardson. Samuel Rivers married Rebecca Gray in Southampton Co, VA. Samuel and Rebecca are my earliest proven ancestors in this branch.
I also see that there is a Rivers Family Cemetery in Greensville County, but have been unable to locate it.
