Lula was my grandfather's sister. She was the daughter of Hezekiah Conner and Ida Crump. I don't have any info on Lula's descendants; she and her husband and Alvin and Albert are buried in the old Emporia Cemetery on Brunswick Avenue (I have photos).
I have tons of info on the Conner/Crump side, back to the late 1500's for the Crump's and early 1800's for the Conner's. I think some of her descendants are still around in Emporia/Greensville.
I know this wasn't much help, but if you like, I could send you my Conner/Crump stuff. I have about 500 files of documents, photos, etc.
I did go to high school with a guy named James Alvin Grant, who is about 54 or 55 now. He works for Greensville County in the maintenance department and should be in the phone book. i think he may be related, but I'm not sure.
