They are an excellent reference tool for early Greensville County, VA. His book, "Royal Land Patents & Commonwealth Land Grants of Greensville County, VA" has a fantastic collection of maps with names of everyone who held the land! It also contains maps showing the evolution of the county from 1702 to present, which shows all of the early counties that Greensville County, VA had land in before becoming a county.
