I don't have any Arthurs in my family that long ago; however, I haven't any reason to doubt that it might be a name used my my missing Freemans.
One aunt of the missing Freeman men married a Brummitt and moved to Rutherford Co., TN -- so geographically it is possible.
Thanks for the lead; I haven't checked Williamson Co. as a possibility. Right now I'm not spending much time on Genealogy, but I'll probably get back to it.
