Linda I have checked and rechecked what I have.The names are the same but are they the same people?On Goochland County early marriages they have Charles Carter m.Judith Carter 6/24/1756.You have Daniel as their oldest son married to Sally and Elizabeth.My oldest known and confirmed Carter is Charles Davis Carter Sr.His granddaughter has proof that Daniel Carter and Elizabeth Mayo were his parents.My Elizabeth was born in 1824.My Charles Sr was b.1866 so your Daniel would have been 100 or better when my Charles was born.
