I, too, am researching the Yeargin Family. I was delighted to see your posting. Are you aware of a book originally published in 1891 entitled, "The Origin and Genealogy of the The Yeargan Family as Far as Heard from Up to This Date, 1890"? What portion of the family history are you writing? Right now, I am researching the sons of Wiley Yeargin, son of John Yeargin. These boys left SC and went to AL. They left AL for CA in 1870. This covers a fascinating period of our history. I would like to hear from you.
