Hi,I am just starting to look for my family-got interested in this when a lady contacted me about the parrish side-ran across your query and thought you may be able to give me some info on the parrishs-i believe that john or ludell parrish may have been my gggrandfather-married henrietta ? -moved from virginia to north carolina to tennessee to kentucky-had 7 or 8 children all born in tennessee-my father never talked very much about his family and now that he is getting up in years (83) he can"t remember hardly a thing-he has (1) sister and they don't get along with each other (too much alike) she is age 84-and if I talk to her dad gets mad at me - he does'nt have but a few family members left-most in Detroit-I have recently discovered an old parrish cemetery that is on what used to be parrish land-I will have to wait until fall or winter to get to it - too many ticks and snakes-it is located in the woods and I will have to look for it -the cemetery has'nt been taken care of so I don't know what I will find-The parrishslived in calloway county kentucky near Ken-Lake State Park - I have discovered the parrishs are from goochland county ,virginia-anything you can tell me would be most appreciated-Jo Parrish Stone
