I have found sources stating that my ggggrandfather, Harrison Bowen, m. Elizabeth Grigg in Stokes, Goochland, VA, in 1840. Harrison was also born in VA. They first show up in the NC census in Stokes Co, NC in 1850. I think Harrison may have had a brother Edwin Bowen. I need to know Harrison's parents. Possibly a John Bowen but I am not sure. Would LOVE to know if they appear in the census for Goochland Co in 1840.
