Martha Gilliam was born Mar. 3, 1766 in Goochland Co. She was the daughter of John Gilliam and Sarah Faris. The parents of John Gilliam are not proven, but it is likely that he came from New Kent Co. via Henrico Co. John Gilliam died Sept. 15, 1794 in Goochland and mentioned his daughter Martha in his will. Hope this helps! Bonnie
