Looking for information of a William Swift marriage prior to 30 December 1756. The date mentioned was the marriage date of William to Frances Waddy. There are three daughters of William: Mary, Margaret, and Sarah Swift, who are not daughters of Frances Waddy Swift. Mary Swift married James George, Jr in Goochland. Margaret may have married a Coleman in Goochland prior to her marriage to Hawley Williamson; she was listed in the will of her father, as deceased but with a son, Archibald Coleman, among other children. Sarah married Nathan Williamson, brother to Hawley, and did settle in Caswell County, NC. Will appreciate very much any information on the first marriage of William Swift and also on the marriage of -?-Coleman and Margaret Swift.
