I am looking for information on Leonard's parents. Leonard was born in 1768 in Cumberland county, Virginia (I am not sure about the county). I have seen some posts on other websites that list Daniel Scott (m. Ann Poindexter) as his father but I am not convinced of this fact. I have seen some researchers say that it is impossible for Daniel to be Leonard's father. They suggest that John Scott (supposed to be Daniel's brother) as Leonard's father. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
