Need to know if my Layne family has any connection to the early Laynes of Goochland Co., Va? John Layne (born late 1760's) and Barbara DeVault were married in Washington Co., VA in 1789 and had moved to Marion Co., TN by the 1820's. I would appreciate any help on my family. Thanks much.
