I am tryng to find out information on Anderson Cousins/Cozzens, who may have been a g-g-g-grandfather and may have lived for a time in Johnstown (Cambria County, Pennsylvania in the 1880's time frame. He's in the VA census for 1850-70, then reappears about 20 years later. There may have been a son named James who was the father of Anderson E. Cozzens/Cousins. The elder cousins wife was Mary Margaret (I think). They were African-Americans, but may have been mulatto and passed as white. This family may have also been Native American. My family has very dark eyes and dark hair. Please let me know anything. Thanks! Debbie (Proud of my heritage.)
