Hello, I am hoping that someone out there can help me find more information on A.J. Moody from Dinwiddie. I am related to him through his son William Benjamin(who married Alice Lee Vaughan on February 18, 1874). We found the marriage license for A.J. Moody and Elizabeth Sansefer(Sandifer)?. We have had problems reading the names of their parents and the records don't go back far enough to find a birth certificate. We would like to know what the A.J. stood for as well as get their parents names squared away. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time.
