I believe I am a direct descendant of Robert Dinwiddie, Lt. Governor of Virginia and have some records to establish the fact. However, I am not sure Robert Dinwiddie had any sons and I may be related to a brother of his but am not able to pin this down. Do you have any information that might assist me? I know he is my 5th great granduncle, but would like to gain more information as to how this is established. If you respond, ignor the block mesage and just note "dinwiddie" in your subject area.
