Hi, Sam: Silvanus Johnson married Rachel ??. His older brothers, Julius Allen Johnson, James G. Johnson and Benjamin Warren Johnson, were born in Lunenburg Co., VA, beginning in 1791 thru 1812. They were the sons of Julius Johnson and Mary (Walker). Julius' father was Benjamin Johnson, Sr, of Brunswick Co., VA. Can prove family line only through 1780s. Benjamin W. Johnson moved to Leake Co., MS, and died 1870. He and his family lived in Greene co., AL from late 1820s till moving to Neshoba Co., MS, in 1838. Benajmin W.'s sister, Nancy, married Nathaniel Crow. He died in Prentiss Co., MS, near Itawamba. Contact me by email if you need more info on this family.
