I am looking for any information concerning Mary Brandon (born around 1823) and listed on the 1860 Dinwiddie County Census as a free mulatto with her three children Mary Eliza, Nancy (Tabby) and Adalena (12). Adalena married Richard Knox, another free mulatto in Dinwiddie County. The 1860 record is the only record I have. There was a Mary listed in 1850 Census in Chesterfield, but there was no surname. Any help would be appreciated.
