I am researching the following Manley men who lived in Dinwiddie County in the early 1800's (possibly before that as well). Abner T. and Richard Manley are listed in the census of Dinwiddie County in 1820. David Manley is residing in GA by that time, but his wife's father who died in Hancock, GA references Dinwiddie as their residence prior to GA. (Her maiden name is Jacobinah Thweatt). In addition, I have now run across the name of John Thweatt Manley in GA who marries a Mary Sherman. Based on census records David and John are around the same age so there had to have been a prior Manley/Thweatt marriage at some point. All these men end up in Henry County, GA and then they or their sons move to Pike County, GA and Spalding County, GA. Any help would be appreciated in trying to sort out these Manleys and Thweatts.
