I'm researching the Dinwiddie County, Virginia Thweatts to connect my family line that ended up in Louisiana. Isham Reese Thweatt was born in Dinwiddie County in either 1783 or 1795 (tombstone vs. Census records) and later moved to Williamson County, Tennessee to be with a brother of his mother's...a White...this I suspect was the father of either James W. or Holland L. White who were both born ABT 1790 in Virginia, unknown counties. The names of Isham's parents or siblings are yet unknown, but we know that Isham was somehow related to Henry Coleman Thweatt of Tennessee, and that his mother's maiden name must have been White. Any records on Isham or any records of a Thweatt-White marriage in the Mid-Late 1700's in Dinwiddie would be very useful.
