I am researching a Revolutionary Solider named William Owen, he sometimes went by William R. Owen. He lived in Dinwiddie County, Virginia married a mary or Polly Patton. William found his way to Giles County, Tennessee and raised a family in the early 1800's. He had a least one daughter born in Virginia, names Ann Elizabeth Owen b. 15 August 1816.(Dinwiddie County, Virginia)
Does anyone know of this William Owen?
