Once again it has been quite some time, but I recently came across some interesting information pertinent to the African-American Winfield lines from this area of Virginia. If you follow the attached link to the ancestry.com message board, you can read all about it.
The Winfields lived along the Dinwiddie/Sussex line, so were found in both counties.
