George Ray was living in Albemarle Parish in Surry co or Dinwiddie co Va in 1775 when his son Samuel Ray was born, He had sons Solomon and Mark and possibly other children. I know the family went to NC shortly after that and then to Wilkes co Ga by the mid 1780's but I do not know where he was from originally or who his wife was or who his parents were. Would anyuone have info about the Ray family in the Albemarle Parish area in 1775? Thanks
