In order to bring this speculation to an end, we need to compare the DNA of a male descendant with our own. This would allow many KEY families to know their genealogy for many additional generations. A group of KEY/KEE/KEA'S have caused our DNA to be tested, and we think we have roots in Smith and Sumner Counties in Tennessee, North Carolina and in Southeast Virginia.
Do you know of a living male descendant of either of these men who might be willing to have his DNA run, so that it might be compared with ours?
