Annie T. Barlow a 35 year-odld widow, who was born in Charles City, and a resident of Charles City, the daugther of Braxton & Eliza Wills, married Joseph B. Smith, a 34 year-old single man, who was born in Henrico County and was employed there as a school teacher, the son of James & Rhoda Smith. The marriage took place on 13 Sept. 1865 at the residence of minister James H. Christian who performed the service. I hope this information is helpful to you.
