I was wondering if Robert Bolling was a surveyor?
The Bolling's show up next to the Jacksons on various deeds and in various locations. Patrick Jackson owned the plantation in back of Merchants Hope, which was next to Kippax. The Randolph's, William's, Bolling's and Jackson's all seem to have a common thread in that area.
