I was sent information on this marriage as a response to my inquiry about a Sarah Harrison-Jonathan Quivers union. There were at least two Sarah Harrisons directly connected with Benjamin Harrison, signer. I believe that one was his daughter, the other may have been his sister. Jonathan Quivers was a mulatto/native american or some combination, so this would also have been frowned upon by the Harrison family. My father believed that the identies of the Sarah Harrisons may have been switched to conceal the Quivers union, but I don't know if that is correct. I do have some information on the two Sarahs that I gathered some years ago, don't have time to dig it out now, but will later if you are interested.
