I have a relative named Polly Kemp, possibly aka Sarah Polly Quivers (Kemp) according to Charles City records. It shows her parents as Sarah and Jonathan Quivers, sister of Emanuel Quivers. but there is conflicting information from another source that her name may have been Polly Burgess, alsi from Harrisin Plantation in Berkeley She was emancipated by Doctor Robert Johnston in 1843 by deed. I have other info on her re her spouse and children in my tree. Ph 510-633-0801 in Oakland California.
