I am a descendent of West Harris who we believe is descended fron John and Dorothy. Proof that their son John was the father of Thomas in Isle of Wight is scanty but likely correct. See recent book on Harris Family by Gray Harris in NC. John was the one called Sgt John Harris.He supposedly died in Charles City Co in ca 1638. Some think his brother was Thomas but I have not seen proof of that. I suspect it might be the case. Dennis
