Need any information on John Douglas and his family. He was imported into Charles City County, VA in 1664 by Thomas Calloway. John Douglas appeared with Ralph Jackson and Joseph Maddox about land grants in 1692 and 1693. He recorded his ear mark along with Joseph Maddox and other in 1693. Can any body help me place this John Douglas with the Douglas family of Brunswick County, VA. They were there in Brunswick County, VA form early 1720's till about the 1750's? Some of the same families that were in Charles City County and Prince George County,them and there descendents were in Brunswick County, VA close to each other as fellow travelers such Douglas, Jackson, Wall, Peterson, Reeves and Hicks. Any information would be greatly appreciated.
