I am looking for the Ransom family of the 1600's that may be the ancestors of Ransom Sutherland, born 1740 in southeastern Virginia.
I believe his mother was a Ransom that perhaps married a Sutherland.
I would be most grateful to hear from any Ransoms of this area.
