I am looking for John Lauer who responded to my query about Jones Gill on 8/7/2006. He wanted to know if there was a connection between Jones Gill and Jones A. Gill and I wrote him back that there was not. I have since found that Jones Gill did indeed have a son named Jones A. Gill, born 1801 and died Dec. 15, 1855 in Charles City county. He was a brother of my ancester, Curtis Gill. There were eight children of Jones Gill and his wife, Patience Nunelly. Let me know if you want their names. The names Bolling and Anthony that you listed were not among them.
