I have ancestors by the name of Miles from Charles City County, Virginia. I am looking for the native ancestry flowing from the Powhattan Confederation or the Pamunkey Tribe to that of Mary Lacy Miles-Wallace. She migrated to Canada with her Jefferson and Bradby family about 1848. I know the Wallace side are Chickahominey. Any related information on these Miles' or cousin families would greatly be appreciated. I am familiar with some of the Cook/Bradby/Dennis Native Pamunkey ancestry too. I am trying to trace my native bloodline through Mary Miles specifically, realizing that the Chief William Paul Miles bloodline is very old and documented "somewhere"...We are cousins to Langston, Cook, Richardson, Stewart, Epps, Braveboy, Adkins & many others.
