I found a record for a Thomas East, supposedly born in Charles City in 1614. This seems unlikely, since the area was "founded" in 1619. Then I read that Thomas Dale established City Point in 1613, so maybe it is possible. Does anyone know anything about the East family? He had a son Thomas and a daughter Jane, who ended up in Henrico County.
