The Charles City County Center for Local History has a substantial amount of information in its genealogy program about the descendants of William Thomas so it is difficult to answer your broad query. Charles City County Registrations of Free Negroes and Mulattoes abstracted from the Minute and Order Books between 1823 and 1864 have been posted to our new web site www.charlescity.org . You will find some members of the Thomas family listed there. If you have a question about a person of a particular name we may be able to help you.
