please contact me... am very much interested in your James Monroe Bryant. trying to determine if he is the brother of my ggf William Harrison Bryant. Have made contact with a definite relative of the James Monroe Bryant listed in the 1880 census for Buckingham Co. Va / Slate River District. James Monroe Bryant b. 1820 Va. m. Milldred A. Ripley b. 1828 in Va. their children: John Stonewall Jackson Bryant b. 09 Feb 1864 in Va. Virginia Bryant b.1867; Patrick Henry Bryant b. 1872; King David Bryant b. 1875. not confirmed but Mildred Ripley may be part Occaneechi Indian.
