Samuel Holman was one of my ancestors as well.
He is not buried at Hanes Chapel, I beleive he
is buried in the Holman Family Cem, on property
that was once "Whitehall", it is owned by Edward
Hanes now, located off Rt 20, you have to get
permission to go to the graves I am also planning to visit the cemetery, when it's cooler,
it's in a pasture, I beleive it dates back to
William Holman, but not sure, I know it goes beyond Sam Holman's time. My greatgrandmother,
Mary Holman, who was raised by Sam is buried there. CC Marshall
