I am trying to find the parents of Permelia Brown that married George Crawford (from Scotland) in 1825 in Mason county VA. George died shortly after they married from a sickness he contracted in Kentucky. Permelia was born December 16, 1806 in Buckingham County VA.She married My Gr Gr Grandfather John Bowyer in 1827 and died May 31, 1852 and is burried in The Winfield, Putnam Co., WV cemetery.
