I believe her parents were John Carter and Francis DuPriest, who were married September 12, 1787. The timeline seems right with her birth just six years later, but I have no absolute confirmation they were her parents. If you have any information it would be greatly appreciated. Hoping you may shed some light on my G****Grandmother's family ties. She was born February 6, 1793 in Buckingham County. Her name was Anna Carter. She married Jacob Ragan in Lexington, KY and moved to what is now Kansas City, where they are buried. She must have been very adventurous indeed. They were my maternal predecessors.
