I am looking for a Lawson Barnett who's second wife was Catherine DeLaFayette Richards VOSS (her first husband was Nicholas Voss). In 1860, they were in Buckingham County, VA and probably working for Female Collegiate Institute. That Census shows Lawson born in 1790 and Catherine born in 1793. Lawson may have had a brother/cousin named Benjamin who married another Richards girl. The Richards family is from Culpeper County, VA.
I am hoping that, in your research, you have come across this family.
